A great church is not measured by how many it seats but rather how many it sends.  I see more and more people in the “sending” mode around our church.  It may be across the street, it may be around the world.  It might be full time, it might be a week.  A sweet lady who recently lost her husband sat in my office yesterday and talked about how members of this church reached out to her.  She feels this is where God wants her to be and she plans on joining this Sunday.  I just read another email from a young lady who grew up in this church and has committed her life to international missions.  That’s what being church is all about.  Not huddling in a nice building but rather ministering in the community or taking the good news of the gospel around the world.  Jesus said “Go!”.
